In the year of 1983 I became a Christian and started going to the Payne Nazarene Church in Ohio. There I started a sign language class for people who wanted to touch Deaf people's lives. One of them was my wife of 34 years. She started to come to church and I believe this was God calling me to the ministry. We moved to Warsaw in 1984 of October and there we joined the Warsaw Church of the Nazarene. I started another sign class and became involved with the drama club. Eventually we started training some people to interpret the messages at church. I joined the Indiana Deaf Camp in 1984 but became a full time counselor in 1986. I have been there ever since and now I head the Deaf Camp as President & Camp Director. I started my schooling for ministry in 1995 and became ordained in 2003. Now we have a Deaf Church that meets once a month on the 2nd Sunday. We average from 20 to 50 people of all walks of life. The purpose is to minister to all those who talk in sign language for people who want to know the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am originally from Nappanee, Indiana, where I grew up in a Nazarene Church. In 1993 I married my wife Tammy who has been a wonderful asset to me and the ministry. We have one daughter named Alyssa who has been a real joy in our lives. I graduated from Bethel College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. My duties as an associate pastor include putting together the worship services, leading worship, leading the youth ministry, helping to maintain the website, and assisting Pastor Bill wherever I am needed. I have a passion for people and for sharing God's word and telling others about His love and mercy. My wife and I have spent our entire married life together in ministry. Together we have lead youth groups and worked in music ministry and have enjoyed doing it. It has been our pleasure to serve here at the New Harvest Church of the Nazarene since the fall of 2009. God is blessing the church and we are delighted to be a part of this team.
